Another project from my Illustration class where we had to do a portrait of someone famous and we had to include a prop from that person's life, work, etc. I was too enticed by the desire to draw tentacles in using Lovecraft subject matter to even consider another famous person. Yes, he has tentacles coming out of his ear, nose and eye. And yes, the rest of the class thought it was gross. I was greatly amused. :]
This one was done with oil pastel with a little bit of digital help for color correction, touchups and background texture. |
