Anyway, this was my final project in my first metals class. The assignment was to make a pendant series using the die press to get the round domed shapes out of irregular forms. So.. I did that, and this is what came of it. x3 The coloration difference came from a chemical patina called Liver of Sulfur. It makes the metal darker the longer it sits. I also heat patina'd the one on the left, which comes from heating it with a torch and not cleaning the metal. Made with silver and copper with bought chain. |

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. All three are eceptionally stunning. So many fun details to look at in the shapes and patinas. I think I am drawn to the one in the middle most. It looks ancient symbolic, maybe even steampunk (which I am fond of in spite of my age). Practically speaking, I see that one on the left gettting the little curls caught on something all the time.
