I've been inspired quite a bit by Gaia recently. >.> This one was made from an outfit I put together on Gaia using one of their newer items, the White Drome Egg. I've developed a little bit of back story for the character though.

Dromes, which is the race of humanoid you see sitting there, are hatched from eggs. The gestation period for those eggs are the same amount of time as any human baby, so they must be carried on the back of an adult Drome until the egg becomes too large and cumbersome to carry. When hatched, the baby Drome will keep a piece of it's egg shell to wear all through it's life in some fashion.

This piece took like... no time, but came out pretty well. I usually color everything in the lines and make it all clean, but I wanted to be messy this time. As I did with the Kachina Doll sketch, I scanned it, bumped the contrast and gave the dark line a little blue color. Underneath the lines I just airbrushed color in the appropriate places with little regard to staying in the lines.
